Because we are dealing with live, sensitive companions, our return policy is governed by the welfare of the bird. We aim to ensure every Congo African Grey and Timneh African Grey is placed in a permanent, loving home.
1. Live Arrival Guarantee
We offer a 100% Live Arrival Guarantee for all birds shipped via our VIP Air Travel protocol.

Immediate Inspection: You must inspect your bird immediately upon pickup from the airport or arrival at your door.

Notification Window: In the extremely rare event of a health issue or loss during transit, you must notify us within two (2) hours of the scheduled arrival time.

Required Documentation: To process a refund or replacement under this guarantee, a formal report from a licensed veterinarian must be provided.
2. 72-Hour Health Guarantee
Every African Grey parrot for sale leaves our nursery with a clean bill of health. To give you peace of mind, we provide a 72-hour window for independent verification.

Veterinary Exam: We encourage all new owners to have their bird examined by a certified avian veterinarian within 72 hours of arrival.

Full Refund: If your veterinarian discovers a pre-existing chronic health condition (documented by laboratory testing), you may return the bird for a full refund of the purchase price or a replacement bird of equal value.

Shipping Costs: Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable.
3. Returns of Live Birds (Non-Health Related)
We understand that life circumstances can change. However, because birds are susceptible to stress and environmental pathogens, we do not accept “change of mind” returns once a bird has entered a new household.

The “Safety First” Rule: To protect our nursery from outside diseases, we cannot allow birds to return to our facility once they have been exposed to other environments.

Rehoming Assistance: If you find you can no longer care for your African Grey, please contact us. We will provide free assistance in finding a qualified, screened “forever home” for the bird through our network of enthusiasts.
4. Refunds on Deposits
To hold a specific bird like Max, Cassy, or Sperry, we require a deposit.

Non-Refundable Deposits: Deposits are generally non-refundable as they remove the bird from the “Available” list and prevent other families from adopting.

Store Credit: If you are unable to complete a purchase, your deposit may be converted into a Store Credit valid for 12 months, applicable toward a future bird or supplies.
5. Returns on Cages and Supplies
For items purchased from our African Grey parrot cages for sale section:

Unopened Items: You may return unused, unopened cages and accessories within 14 days for a full refund (minus shipping).

Opened/Used Items: For biosecurity reasons, we cannot accept returns on used cages, perches, or toys, as these can carry bacteria or viruses that could endanger other birds.
6. Order Cancellations

Before Shipping: If you cancel your order before the bird has been vet-checked and crated, you will receive a refund minus the non-refundable deposit.

After Shipping: Once the bird has been delivered to the airline or transport team, the sale is considered final.
